How To Have Radiant and Glowing Skin for Summer

Skin for SunWe’ve all been there. Dull skin making us look tired and run down. But as the warm weather approaches, you want your skin to be beautiful and radiant. You should take skin care seriously to bring out the beauty in your skin. Not only will you be ready to show off your glowing skin, but you’ll look younger and feel better just by following a few skin care tips. And, remember proper skin care doesn’t need to be expensive and time consuming.

Make sure you wash your face every night before bedtime. Use a mild soap for the face. Harsh soaps may cause irritation and dry skin. It is helpful to use a mild exfoliant which will strip away dead skin cells. These are what gives your complexion that dull look. Be careful not to scrub too vigorously with the exfoliant because this will cause irritation. You want your skin to stay hydrated so using a night cream will help your skin to stay moisturized throughout the night.

When you get up in the morning, you should once again wash your face with mild soap. You will want to skip the exfoliant for the morning as this can cause irritation if used too frequently. You may want to use a day cream to keep your skin hydrated during the day. Also, day creams often contain sunscreen. You should always wear sunscreen on your face, even in the winter months because any amount of exposure to the sun can damage your skin. Apply the day cream before applying your foundation.

Of course, you want radiant skin all over since more of your body is exposed during the summer. When showering, use a loofah mitt to gently exfoliate your legs and arms. This can be done with each shower as long as you remember to scrub gently. Skin on the arms is especially sensitive and can be irritated easily.
